Oman celebrates its National Pavilion Day today.
China and Oman have obtained friendly exchanges over the years and Oman hoped to produce about its experience in urban and rural construction, sustainable development and multicultural blending and learn from other countries by participating from the Expo, Yahya bin Mahfoudh al Manthri, Chairman of the point out Council of the Sultanate of Oman, mentioned at this morning’s official ceremony at the expo Center.
Oman would display its cultural legacy, folk art and traditions at the Expo, he said.
Liu Qi, deputy director of the point out Energy managing of China, mentioned the Oman Pavilion showcases the country’s organically grown attractiveness and traditions heritage, as well as its pursuit of sustainable and harmonious development of people and nature.
Exploring the theme “Evolving Journey,” the 2,000-square-meter pavilion combines the blue-and-gold prow of a typical Omani sailing ship making utilization of a white fort.
At the rear is a distinctive circular tower of Oman’s good old capital, Nizwa. In front, the stylish tower of Sohar, a port town once recognised as “The Gateway to China,” welcomes visitors.
Oman lies from the southeast coast of the Arabian Peninsula together while using pavilion combines Arabian characteristics and modern styles. The pavilion in Zone A exhibits good old Omani towns, port cities and cities from the desert and mountains.
The exhibition traces the country’s progress, capturing its beauty, traditions and traditions as well as geographical diversity.
The second portion of the pavilion, titled “1001 Arabian Nights,” characteristics the shipping routes of Sinbad the Sailor. site visitors can “travel” from the good old port town of Sohar, to Nizwa and Muscat, arriving from the Blue town terminal, which could be finished by 2020.
