A stamp of approval on civility

The Qatar Pavilion has designed a completely new passport stamp to reward visitors with decent manner. Visitors will get the stamp on their expo passports — a reminder of civilized behavior and interest across the environment.



\\”Expo granny\\” Tomiyo Yamada was the initial to get the exclusive stamp across the Qatar Pavilion this morning. The 61-year-old lady from Japan has designed herself a put together to see the six-month expo every day. For that factor she rented an unit across the expo site.

Day 114 reports smooth operation

Some 480,000 most people will entered the expo site by 7pm yesterday.



Among yesterday\\’s visitors, 101,400 confirmed up in tour types and 91,853 received been local citizens with complimentary tickets provided by the Shanghai government. A total of 79,031 tickets received been sold at the gates, 30,510 of them for evening visit.



As of 6pm, 87,000 visitors received passed by method of Houtan entrance, in comparability with 82,000 at Shangnan Road entrance, 75,000 at Changqing Road entrance and 58,000 at Gaoke Road entrance.

Expo visitors top 44 million

Some 430,300 people entered the expo site by 7pm yesterday, bringing the total volume of expo site visitors to 44.12 million so far.



Among yesterday\\’s visitors, 119,000 highlighted up in head to types and 59,000 were nearby residents using complimentary tickets provided by the Shanghai government. A total of 73,067 tickets were sold in the gates, 27,570 of them for evening visit.



As of 6pm, 82,000 site visitors received passed through Houtan entrance, compared with 66,000 at Shangnan Road entrance, 69,000 at Changqing Road entrance and 57,000 at Gaoke Road entrance.



As many as 69 shows were carried out at expo venues from early morning to 5pm yesterday, getting 37,900 spectators.



Some 5,872 volunteers worked concerning the site and five expo clinics treated 448 site visitors yesterday by 4pm.



The expo Organizer expects some 120,000 group site visitors today and advises nearby residents with completely free tickets for August and students on holiday to see the expo as earlier as probable to prevent overcrowding.

Guizhou Week kicks off in Expo Site

Guizhou Week currently kicked off at Baosteel Grand period with ethnic singing and dancing by artists from the province.

Low-carbon card holders can skip lines

Luxembourg Pavilion and Finland Pavilion nowadays joined the group of pavilions that offer direct access to low-carbon transport card holders.



Along with Dutch Pavilion and \\”We include the World\\” Pavilion, which promotes eco-friendly energy, Luxembourg Pavilion and Finland Pavilion will let card holders to skip waiting line from August 22 to 28.
